This weeks #ThrowbackThursday joint is delivered by hip hop pioneers Special K & Teddy Ted who are also known as the “Awesome 2″. If you know anything about rap music, you know Special K & Teddy Ted are like paint on the wall in the home of hip hop. The Awesome 2 made quite a few contributions to the game by staying consistent in the clubs, commercial radio shows, Music production and also by aligning themselves with some of hip hops most notable heavyweights such as Ed O.G. & The Bulldogs & this weeks #Throwback mention, Nice & Smooth.
Nice & Smooth consists of group members Greg Nice & Smooth B. Together, They are responsible for a collection of raw classics since 1987 when they officially arrived on the scene. They’re first album titled “Nice & Smooth” had a string of hits like “No Delayin”, “Funky For You”, “Dope On A Rope” & “More and More Hits”. The follow up album, “Ain’t A Damn Thing Changed”… Let’s just hold that thought and Enjoy today’s #Throwback “No Bones & Ice Cream” by Nice & Smooth
